Eric Geng joined China Media Capital (CMC) in 2015, currently he leads the international business of CMC Sports, including investment, post-investment management and business collaboration. Eric is deeply involved in the operation of CMC Sports’ portfolio companies, such as City Football Group China business and China Sports Media (the rights owner of Chinese Super League).
Before CMC, Eric was the Director of Business Development at LeSports, and responsible for media rights and strategic collaboration. He played a key role in LeSports’ acquisition of English Premier League audiovisual rights in HongKong, and helps LeSports to establish partnership with football federations including RFEF, FFF, DFB, FA and FIGC, as well as clubs such as Real Madrid, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Ajax etc.
Eric holds sports management master degree from Loughborough University and bachelor degree from Communication University of China.
